It's not really that hard, in fact, much is kind of common sense, but I understand it feels hard - I've been there too! And I was overwhelmed.

 

Our culture in many ways has lost the simplicity of life, with all of the complicated technology and advertising that tells us every single day that "we need this" and "must have that."  Walk through a big discount store and you never knew you needed so many things!

 

It can be simpler.  Cheaper.  Greener.  Much more healthy, and even delicious in the process.  Energy filled and fun. 

 

It can be more peaceful, and with all the money and possibly time you can save, even less stressful.  

 

And best of all you CAN make it a priority to fulfill your own special destiny and have great purpose and meaning to your life, as THE most important part, not just the rat race of keeping up.

 

All you need is a start and some support to get you going. 

 

Some of us need "training wheels" on our life as we roll down life's path... no shame in that, that's how we learn! 

 

Some of us are all ready to go and we just need the simple steps to follow, with others beside us to walk with.

I received my training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I was trained in more than one hundred dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods. Drawing on this knowledge, I will help you create a completely personalized “roadmap to health” that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.

 

I received further training under Dr. Sara Gottfried, Harvard educated Gynocologist, and author of The Hormone Cure,  where we can explore the possibility of a hormone imbalance affecting your physical well-being. I then studied additionally in extensive training in Functional Nutrition with Full Body Systems, Holistic PDX, where we become like Health Detectives seeking to get to the bottom of why you are not feeling well, and where  that is coming from. Instead of just treating symptoms my goal is to figure out what is going on in there that's making you feel like you do, get to the root of the problem, and deal with it! This is called "Functional Medicine" where healthcare practictioners see the body as one whole, inextricably intertwined miracle of life, each body system affecting the whole. I want you to see yourself as a WHOLE PERSON, body, soul and spirit, and understand the vital importance of attending to each part to be fully complete. :-)
